The down and out men in green made a remarkable come back in South Africa and won the three match series by winning the second ODI against South Africa. Befor this series the both the teams played against each other at UAE but Pakistan’s team performance there was very poor. They lost the T-20 series and one day series. However the test series ended in draw. Pakistan team performance in that series was very bad in that series as they only managed to won one out of 5 one day internationals. Imran Tahir of South Africa proved to be a game turner in that series. The low in confidence Team Pakistan went to south Africa and showed their caliber and talent. At South Africa they draw the T-20 series 1-1 in that Pakistan lost the first game due to bad weather conditions. In ODI  series Team Pakistan fought hard and won both the games. The second game was a thriller as the match went very close and was decided on last ball. Pakistan Batted first and scored  262 runs. Ahmad Shahzad scored a tremendous century while Sohaib and Umar Akmal made 42 each. South Africa batting second chased the score very well but great bowling by Junaid Khan, Shahid Afridi and Saeed Ajmal bowled very well. The match almost slipped from hands of Pakistan but wicket of Ab devilliars and last two overs by Saeed Ajmal and Juanid Khan turned the game in Pakistans favour. By winning the match Pakistan won their first ever series against South Africa. Good luck team Pakistan for the last match.
