Well the rumor about unblocking Youtube in Pakistan is in news from quite long time but this time its been said that almost all preparations have been completed in order to unblock Youtube in Pakistan but with some special filters which will block unwanted content to be seen in Pakistan. Special filters are now being tried by PTCL and by using those filters one can visit Youtube and other objectionable sites but unwanted and objectionable content couldn’t be seen.

Youtube was blocked in Pakistan as it uploaded blasphemous content which wasn’t acceptable by muslims all over the world and Pakistan IT officials requested the Youtube and Google to remove that content as it is not acceptable to any muslim society or to block that content so that it can’t be seen in Pakistan but both Youtube and Google didn’t accepted Pakistan’s requirement and Youtube was blocked in Pakistan. As lots of students takes lectures and lot of educational stuff is uploaded on Youtube which is very beneficial for students that’s why it is also very necessary to unblock Pakistan but to find out a middle way PTA was given task that one can see visit Youtube having but the objectionable content can’t be seen. Many other sites lie in the category of Youtube. PTA has designed over 4000 webistes were blocked.

PTCL will charge government for these services. This system is capable to block blasphemous content these special filters are under observation and results have been pretty fruitful. Now IT minister will formally write letter to Prime Minister of Pakistan in which he will explain the capability of the new system and will ask to implement it formally. If prime minister will approve that letter Youtube will be officially unblocked in Pakistan and according to sources this will happen soon. You can now open Youtube.
