Well it seems that out of 3 banned cricketers, Salman Butt in unlucky because the other two are finding other means for their bread and butter. Well now Muhammad Amir has also found another profession and that is showbiz. The fast bowler has been offered a leading role in the film of Faisal Bukhari.

Name of the movie is “Blind Love”, before this Muhammad Asif the other victim of spot fixing who was banned for 7 years got a role in an indo-Pak movie by the name of “India Mein Lahore” not only this Asif also has been offered a leading role in Pakistan first suspense thriller movie. So things are working good for these two bowlers but our banned captain Salman Butt is really off the field and haven’t been seen since long. No doubt Salman Butt was a real talent and also was a good captain.

Coming back to Mohammad Amir, this guy would have done many things for Pakistan till now if and only if he wasn’t banned. This guy has so much to offer, only at age of 19 he was being compared with Wasim Akram. He was part of the T20 World cup which we won, he took 7 wickets in a test match against Australia and won it for us. Amir has faced 4 years ban till now and his ban will be lifted in September 2015 which means he won’t be available to for this world cup as well.

Regarding working in films Amir said “I have been offered the hero’s role in a Pakistan film and I have decided to take this opportunity but once my ban is lifted my first priority will be cricket”. Amir further asserted “For four years now I have not played cricket which was my bread and butter, so I had to find ways and means to earn and this opportunity has come as a blessing,” Amir has proved his iron as a cricketer but we have to wait and see whether he proves to be a successful cricketer.
