Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf chairman Imran Khan has announced to wrap up the 126 days long sit-in from D-Chowk Islamabad. Addressing the participants of Dharna, Imran Khan said that he has never seen such thing before in his life like killing of students in Army Public School at Peshawar.

He also told that at first he thought of not joining Nawaz Sharif in All Parties Conference (APC) but the nation needs solidarity on the issue of terrorism. He said that political conflicts are there but on the issue of deaths of children, all politicians and nation are one.

Imran Khan further said that he has assured Nawaz Sharif and Government of complete cooperation in war against terrorism and it is now expected of Nawaz Sharif to make judicial commission functional as soon as possible so that investigation regarding rigging in 2013 elections can be carried out as soon as possible. If Nawaz Sharif proves that there was no rigging in 2013 elections, we will accept him Prime Minister otherwise he will have to initiate mid-term elections.

Imran Khan said that if they get to know that Nawaz Sharif is moving back from his word, we will come back at roads. We have the street power to force the closure of whole country at will.

When Imran Khan was going back to Bani-Gala after wrapping up the sit-in, some of the emotional PTI workers stopped his car. They also raised slogans against Imran Khan and his decision to wrap up the sit-in. Imran Khan had to come down from the car and talk to the workers personally to convince them to go back.

Aitezaz Ahsan commented that with this step, Imran Khan has proved that he is a national leader who will do anything for the nation and that his stature has grown in his eyes.
