Ahmad Shahzad is on a roll these days. Few days ago he performed very well for Pakistan and became the first Pakistani having a T20 century to his name. Few days ago he was cheering for Maria Sherapova on Twitter and Maria Sherapova won the tournament as well.

Now the latest being that Lebanese Miss Lebanon 2010, Miss Earth 2011 and Miss Asia Pacific 2012 Nathaly Farraj has praised Ahmed Shahzad on his Twitter account. She wrote on Twitter that

I am really impressed the way u bat Good luck!

Ahmed Shahzad replied her in a polite and commendable way

Thanx! I Also like ur work, good luck to u too

This is not all as Ahmed Shahzad has also been nominated for captaincy of T20 team of Pakistan. He is one of the strongest candidates for this position along with Umar Akmal after Muhammad Hafeez resigned from this position after failing to take Pakistan into semi-finals of World T20 in 2014.

During 2013 and 2014 he has cemented his place in Pakistani cricket team as a dependable opening batsman and when it is his day, the opposing team’s bowlers feel that they have a very rough day.

It is great to see a young player like Ahmed Shahzad who belong to a poor family make it to national team of Pakistan with hard work and now he is known not only in Pakistan but throughout the globe.

Few days ago Ahmed Shahzad said that nomination for captaincy will not make him proud and he will not start dreaming high. It is really a big honor if he is selected as the captain of the national T20 cricket team but it does not mean that he should divert his attention towards it and start to perform poorly. This is really a professional approach from Ahmed Shahzad. Wishing him good luck in his uprising career.
