Salman Khan’s latest super hit movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan showcased Munni, a little girl who cannot talk and has somehow crossed the border from Pakistan and has entered India. After Salman Khan realizes that she is from Pakistan, he tells Munni that he will get her back to Pakistan.
After facing lot of problems, Salman Khan manages to combine the family once again. Dr. Amir Liaquat and Bajrangi Bhaijaan have something common going on these days. Geeta is an Indian girl that is currently in Pakistan. Dr. Amir Liaquat aims to send her back to her family in India.
Amir Liaquat said on Geo TV show that he wants to convey a positive image of Pakistan that even an Indian girl is safe in Pakistan. He further said that he wishes that from one side of the border he takes Geeta with him and watch his family on the other side of the border and watch them reunite once again so that Geeta can put her head in her mother’s lap and celebrate Deewali and Holi with his family.
Although Dr. Amir Liaquat has been the primary focus of criticism for the past few years in Pakistan but for a long time now, it seems that this step has been appreciated by people. Despite few negative comments, majority comments favor this action of Amir Liaquat. The timing couldn’t be much better as Bajrangi Bhaijaan has been showing the same story on the cinema screens and Amir Liaquat is trying to achieve the feat in real life.
There might be some motive of Geo and Amir Liaquat to achieve some rating for their channel but overall this cause is a good one and credit must be given to Amir Liaquat for carrying this through.
