Students from NUST Karachi campus have designed and manufactured a formula one style car so that they could participate in upcoming event in UK. This event is ‘Formula Student Competition’ and it will be held in UK.
A team of 30 students worked tirelessly on the project for about a period of less than one year. Designing took almost six months while manufacturing took them almost three months.
Total 178 entries were presented for this year’s Formula Student Competition and 114 entries have been shortlisted. Fortunately the team of NUST is included in these 114.
This is a proud moment for whole Pakistan that our young talent is making its way to the international competitive market despite of being far less resourceful.
Formula Student Competition UK is undeniably world’s most famous competition for students as far as motorsport is concerned. Students all around the globe participate in this competition with their projects and this time brilliant students from Pakistan made their way into the competition.
During the competition, students from all around the globe are challenged to design and manufacture single seated racing car in one year time duration. Not only this, but the students get a chance to prove themselves and pursue a career in global automotive industry.
