Preparation for Christmas in Pakistan, especially in metros, are in full swing with devotees decorating the churches and Christmas trees according to their religious traditions. Christians are one of the largest Pakistani non-Muslims with a total population of five million in various part of the country especially Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, Islamabad and few other cities.
The major celebration of Christmas takes place in Lahore from St. Anthony’s Church to the Cathedral. The day in Pakistan is celebrated with lots of enthusiasm. In the last week of Christmas, spiritual seminars starts to take place to aware the people prepare for that Big Day.
