Very true indeed, as we see music everywhere; without it life seems dull and boring. It is limitless; free of caste, race, ethnicity and so-called fake’s status of people. It does not have any language yet it brings people together, Perhaps this is the reason why Cornetto has join hands with the music industry of Pakistan for a show called “Cornetto Music Icon.” It has brought Pakistan’s most popular music lords together such as Jal group, Noori and Call etc at one platform for the promotion of Music in our country. Thus, it has become a unique & popular Music Show airing on ARY TV & PTV since 28th April, 2013.
The main idea of this show is to bring the rich and talented young singers of Pakistan forward via Cornetto Music Icon. It encourages them to sing in front of all well-known singers and television get applauded o corrected at the spot. The best among them would then be selected as the “Music Icon” at the end (in the 10th episode) he will get a special music training afterwards.
Cornetto aims to sort out young voices from all over Pakistan and promote them through its show. It will polish their creative abilities and associate with them in the innovation of latest content for the public. Cornetto Music Icon include all the well-reputed Pakistan music legends like Alimgir, Ali Azmat, Meesha Shafi, Cybil Chowdery, Ahmed Ali Butt, Zoe, Shahi Hassan, Salman and many more. They are playing the role of a show mentor for the young artists.
All the artists have passed the audition stage thus they are all competent singers-to-be. Some of the names of participants are: Waseem Abbas, Zeeshan Alam, Osama Saleem, Khawar, Owais, Sadia, Tahir Randhawa and Tariq Mehmood etc. Cornetto Music Icon offers public to vote and surf about their favorite singer’s complete details and singing history through its web portal. One can also share their favorite singer’s song to others via facebook. Catwalk production has launched it while Catalyst PR & Marketing is responsible for handling it.
