It is releasing from 17th May 2013 at 7:25 PST. Urwa Hocane plays the role of a wife and Ahmed Zaib is her husband. Zeeshan Khan is the director of this beautiful comedy. Urwa Hocane will be seen in this play doing childish things. She looks very innocent in her role, Maina. Urwa has tried her best to make this role come alive. Maina is bubbly and dashing and so is Urwa. Her wedding photo shoot is espcially praise-worthy; she looks like a real bride in those photos.
Ahmed Zeb, the Mithu of “Namak Paray” is a young model and actor of Pakistan. His ability to get moulded in any character is great; he has proved that he was the perfect choice for producers of this play. He has also done really well as by playing the role of “Mithu”. This character was made for him indeed.
Saba Hasaan, popular Pakistani writer has written its story. It is a unique narration of a modern, young couple, Mithu and Maina. They are a happy family, despite being fighting and mocking each other. Mithu, is a cartoonist. He is loyal, loveable and trustworthy fellow. The best thing about him is that he is a gentleman unlike his adventure-loving wife.
Maina is somehow restless though; she loves to find issues and sometimes she creates them herself. She loves turns and twists. She does not like smooth-going life like her husband. Therefore Mithu’s wife is his opposite. Like most of the Pakistani Wives she is a chatterbox. She is bold and courageous also. And thus, Mithu is always troubled by her misadventures. Mithu is sarcastic of Maina which is the main reason of their light-hearted fights and arguments. Mithu bears her calmly as he knows she is a bit short-tempered. But despite being very different from each other, their love and respect is everlasting. As a couple people envoy their happy ever after life.
