It’s only cricket which is being given importance in Pakistan and by government of Pakistan. While the other sports are being neglected in our country. Football is being loved all over the world and it won’t be wrong if it named as game of the world. The football fans in Pakistan enjoys watching English Premier League, Spanish League, Bundes League but they have never got a chance for their own football players.
Pakistan has never qualified for the Fifa world cup. Fans of Pakistan football has never felt how it feels when their team plays world cup. In the same manner hockey is our national sport but it is neglected very much as well that why 4 times champions couldn’t qualify for world cup. The governing bodies has been established but nobody governs the governing bodies. It’s all because of mismanagement. Pakistan has got talent in every sport its just the lack of infrastructure and corruption that has lead to such huge distraction of games in Pakistan.
In this regard another set back is that International Olympic Committee has send last warning to Pakistan for stopping interference in office of Pakistan Olympic Association office. International Olympic Committee has warned government of Pakistan to stop interfering in Pakistan Olympic office but they still receive have reservations on the members sitting there. If this time government doesn’t move according to the rules of International Olympic Committee then Pakistan will be taken out from the list of Olympic playing nations which will be yet another set back for all the talented athletes who are working hard and looking forward to win some gold medals for their country in next Olympics.
It will be a huge disgrace for Pakistan if it goes out of Olympics. Pakistan Hockey will be destroyed as they are not playing the world cup and if they Pakistan goes out of the list of Olympic playing national then it will be huge set back for hockey team of Pakistan along with other athletic sports. The government officials should take this warning seriously and should act according to the rules and regulation of International Olympic Committee so that the career of many talented youngsters doesn’t go in vein. We all want to see some gold medals coming to Pakistan. Lets hope that our recent Government will take steps to ensure that Pakistan remain in the list of Olympics and our athletes get a chance to show their talent to the world and bring glory to our country.
