Few days back Lionel Messi became the most hated football star among Muslims of the world because his pictures were shared on social media in which he was attending meetings of Jews or Israeli’s. Right after those photos were shared every Muslim started hating him as they thought that Messi is supporting Israel.

The recent attacks on Israel on Gaza is the most inhuman act in recent past as a powerful country with latest weapons is attacking a country with no central government, no army and is killing innocent people, destroying their homes and properties. So Messi lost a huge fan following due to the pictures shared on social media. On the other hand the fan following of Christiano Ronaldo increased as a huge Muslim community started supporting him due to his very noble gesture of not exchanging shirt with an Israeli player because he is against the cruelty of Israel and condemns Israeli aggression on Gaza or Palestine.

So far approximately 2000 people have died in attacks on Gaza which means 2000 families have lost their loved ones. Is this what humanity teaches? Now Lionel Messi also raised his voice against Israel’s aggression on Palestine and he has condemned what Israel is doing to Palestine. Messi highlighted the deaths of children during this one sided war he said that children haven’t done anything and they are paying the price. Messi also insisted that now it’s time to end up the differences and take out some way to end up all of this. Messi is really disappointed at attacks on Gaza as lots of innocent people are dying due to these attacks. Let’s see whether this gesture will give him back his Muslim fan following or not.
