Smartphones in Pakistan to reach 40 Million by December 2016

Auction of 3G and 4G have paved new path for telecom industry in Pakistan. And this directly has incline towards rapid increase in smarthphone users . According to the e-commerce markets, there will be 40 million smartphones in Pakistan by December 2016; the estimate is made looking at the current stats and market value of smartphones in Pakistan.


According to the sources, smartphones are the top selling category across all major e-commerce platforms in Pakistan.

Looking at past, smartphones were not as much popular in Pakistan, although after the auction of 3G and 4G last year have given strength to them. And now Pakistan is one of the preferable market of smartphone companies, back in years many of the leading  smartphone companies have headed towards Pakistan.


A recent view tells that Pakistan has the diverse market of smartphones, many of the worldwide leading brands are participating in the competition to get trust of smartphone customers in Pakistan.

It is pertinent to mention that 3G/4G subscribers are increasing in Pakistan enormously. And in upcoming years more increase in it is excepted which will directly increase the demand of smartphones.

Smartphones didn’t need to prove their vitality, as they are having multi features to be telecom-users first priority.

Numbers of smartphone users worldwide are also exceeding rapidly. According to Statista, the number of  expected smartphone users to reach 2.16 billion in 2016.

Here’s an example which tells what smartphone and 4G are doing together in United Kingdom. According to a reliable source, Ofcom,  the 4G users in UK have reached tremendously high.
