Sumail Hassan wins $1.2m Dota2 Asian Championship

A 16 years old Pakistani boy Summail Hassan, currently in US has earned himself $200,000 in only one month by playing Dota 2 game. He earned this money as a professional Defense of the Dota 2 in the US. 1 year ago, when he was 15 years old, Sumail Hassan moved to Chicago with his family in 2014. He had already the player of Dota 2, and in the US he got the faster internet connection and it proved a great opportunity for him.

Sumail got the fame in North-American in-house gaming league. At that time he came in the eyes of the Evil Geniuses, the biggest e-sport team. The team manager of Evil Geniuses, Charlie Yang hired him. Charlie himself was the player of Dota 2. With the help of Sumail, Evil Geniuses won the Dota 2 Asian championship in China in February 2015.

In Dota 2, there are two teams with 5 players in each team. Both teams challenge each other to take over the their bases. Opposing Team’s Ancient is the main target to be conquered. It is complex game with its weapons and spells. Also, Dota 2 provides the opportunity of earning money more than any other game. The top teams then take part in professional tournaments at international level with millions of prize money.

Now-a-days Sumail is playing in Ti5 tournament whose with a prize money of $17 million. If his team wins the International Dota 2 world championships in Seattle’s KeyArena with prize of $6, he would be millionaire within few days.

Evil Geniuses is the 2nd highest ranked team, while it opposing Team Secret is first ranked in the tournament. Team Secret’s key players, Artour, Arteezy and Babaev were the part of Evil Genius till last December.

Now Summail in fourth up-coming tournament has to outsmart Artezy which will be a great intrest for Dota 2 players.
