The 15th match of PSL 2016 was yesterday played at Sharjah Association Cricket Stadium Sharjah. As we know that Pakistan’s debut cricket ;league is now heading towards its climax, all the teams are giving their 100 percent to knock the opponents. Similarly, this match was also an important one as Peshawar Zalmi winning thjis match would get them equal to the toppers of point table Quetta Gladiators, whereas it was a do or die situation for Lahore Qalnadars as loosing the match would have ruled out  them from this event.

LQ knowing the importance of the match, finally defeated PZ in a last ball decider match.

Zalmis won the toss and opted to bowl first, and early own in the first over dismissed the dangerous Chris Gayle on the very first ball of the match he faced, and as usual the bowler was none other than Junaid Khan.

Captain of Qalnadars Azhar Ali also failed ti impress as he was just able to score 25 runs of 26 balls. The game changed for LQ’s favor when the Cameron Delport and Umar Akmal  settled 3rd wicket partnership of 101 runs. Delport and Akmal scored 78 and  52 notout respectively.

At the end of 20 overs, Qalnadars were able to set 164 runs with loss of 3 wickets on the board.

While chasing the total at one stage Zalmi’s were 95-4 but further they proceeded well and it was looking that Zalmis will be able to snatch the victory as Dawid Malan and Shahid Yousuf added rapid 40 runs in their score board.

But very sooner the quick wicket fall disturbed Zalmi’s to restrict from chasing such a chaseable total. Finally Zalmi’s were able to 160 with loss of 7 wickets after 20 overs .
