The arrangement and design for the new Pakistan’s largest stadium have been finalized, and the construction will start soon. Rafi Cricket Stadium that will be the Pakistan’s Largest Cricket Stadium is going to build by Bahria Sports City in Karachi.
In a recent press release by Bahria Town, construction of the cricket stadium with seating capacity of almost 50,000 people will start in upcoming months. The CEO of Bahria Town Malik Riaz has said it the honour of his organization.
In term of seating capacity, it will share the 12th position with Eden Park, Auckland, New Zealand for the being one of the largest cricket ground by capacity.
The design of the Rafi Cricket Stadium has been approved by the ICC. This ICC certified cricket stadium will consist of an international level of cricket academy, gymnasium, hostels and swimming pool. A sports academy is also the part of the complex. The international architectural company Gerkan, Marg & Partners is the designer of Rafi Cricket Stadium.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, CEO of Bahria Town Malik Riaz stated, ““It is an honour to build Pakistan’s largest cricket stadium in Karachi. The project will help in encouraging sports as well as tourism in the country.” “Such projects will, insha Allah, prove to be the best projects of the country,” he added.
There will be a proper international sports academy in the stadium. Leading international players will be hired to promote the local and international cricket in the country. Once completed, the stadium will consist of a sports academy with two size outdoor cricket fields and 12,000 square meters indoor sport and recreational facilities. The parking area will be sufficient to arrange 10,000 cars at a time. Once completed, Rafi Cricket Stadium will be the largest cricket stadium in Pakistan.
The stadium by the name of Rafi Cricket Stadium will be constructed in the Karachi. Most of the people are thinking of it is going to be constructed in Islamabad that is a false report.
