10th Muharram or the Day of Ashura is a historical day in the history of Islam. It is the day that was religious in al Abrahamic religions but what Imam Hussain Ibn Ali (R.A) did for Islam was marvelous and now this day is known for the sacrifice he and his seventy-two companions made.
Hussain ibn Ali (A.S) was a seventh-century revolutionary leader who did a definitive penance for social equity even with defilement and oppression. He gave all that he had, including his life, for the honor of people around him.
Hussain ibn Ali was born in 620 AD to a family well known for their estimations of adoration, honor, and peace. Raised by his grandfather Hazrat Muhammad (the last prophet of Islam), Hussain was known for his honesty, liberality of soul and visual impairment to shading and social class. It was consequently that individuals ran to him and his family.
