Interior Ministry Put Ban on WhatsApp

Federal Ministry of Interior has banned usage of WhatsApp in all government offices. According to Express News Pakistan, the Ministry has issued circular to all government offices regarding security issues of certain mobile applications not to use in public offices, and WhatsApp is on top of the list.

Stating the reasons behind this step, the Ministry in its circular mentioned that WhatsApp shares the information over international servers without the prior permission of the users.
