Islamabad Police, FC, and Rangers have started operation against ongoing sit-in by Tehreek Labik Pakistan against a bill passed against blasphemy law in Pakistan. To control the situation and mitigate the reaction of people, PTA on the instruction of Ministry of Interior has temporarily blocked all social media services in Pakistan.

Right after the start of operation against protesters, protests have been started across the country. Government is now using all means to endorse its supremacy. Earlier the protestors were given all means of negotiation, but all fail.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Chief of Army Staff, General Javed Qamar Bajwa has called Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbas to solve the matter peacefully. Army Chief has advised both sides to avoid the extreme situation because the current situation is against the national interests.

PEMRA has also directed the all new channesl to not broadcast the live transmission of the Islamabad Dharna as it is propagating the reaction among the public.
