Has MS Dhoni accepted Islam? Real Story

In a country where cricket is the ultimate passion of the nation, MS Dhoni is a cricketing legend like none other. The country we are talking about is our neighboring country India, which has produced some finest batsmen of the cricket world namely Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Virat Kohli and many others. Amid many other Indian batsmen making it to the greatest batsmen of all time, Mahendra Singh Dhoni stands tall as one of the best chasers of the game, best wicketkeeper batsman and the captain as well. What’s more to his story is he is the only captain to win all of the mega titles powered by ICC including World Cup, World T20 and Champions Trophy as well.

Up the latest, MS Dhoni has also become the 2nd wicketkeeper batsmen in the batting history of ODI to score 10,000 runs or more. But all this is something not meant to keep him away from being the victim of the internet hoax. A misinformation that is associated with Dhoni from the years is that he has converted to Islam and is now a proud Muslim. Even though this scandal isn’t a new one to haunt Dhoni but this is something ignorant people still follow thinking that everything on the internet is true.

It should be noted here that Dhoni has also openly rubbished this baseless news but even then this news keeps on spreading like fire in the bush ever now and then.  It should be noted here that India’s successful cricket ever captain isn’t the only one to be victim of such hoax there are plenty other cricketers as well, who have suffered due to this.

It will be pertinent to mention here that social media giants like Facebook and Twitter are taking things to another level by suspending fake accounts on mission to spread misinformation.
