NAB court decision key points:

  • Nawaz Sharif is given jail term for 10 years with 8 million pounds fine
  • Maryam Safdar Nawaz is given 7 years of jail term with 2 million pounds fine
  • Capt Sardar is given 1 year of jail term

Ex-Prime Minister of Pakistan is convicted and guilty again in NAB court case, and this is second big decision regarding him this year. He is given 10 year jail term. 100 pages long judgment is given out by NAB court. Maryam Safdar Nawaz and Capt. Safdar Nawaz both are convicted. Maryam will 7 year jail term while her husband will server 1 year jail term.  The announcement of this anticipated verdict in the Avenfield corruption reference filed by the National Accountability Bureau against the Sharif family was pushed four-time today, and while given at 3:30 pm. Imran Khan popular opposition leader said this is a historic decision for the people of Pakistan. Nawaz Sharif was elected Prime minister on three separate occasions, and is Pakistan’s one of the longest-serving prime minister, although he never completed a term due various reasons.
