The people will miss the great creative minds for a long time. One such name that ruled the small screen for years is Safia Khairi. The white-haired gracefully lady who appeared on the screens in 1992 is no more with her fans now. She breathed her last on Friday, 11th of January 2019. She survived in this mortal world for 86 years.

Safia Khairi is known for her extraordinary acting skills that she started exhibiting quite late in her life but still her innate creativity and acting skills were appreciated by all those who watched her dramas. This lady who starred in PTV class Kasak for the first time in 1992 soon became a popular name. The motherly glow on her face, the appearance, and the elegant sarees were her identities. Despite appearing on screen quite late, she carved her name among the veteran artists of the national television. She played memorable characters in popular TV plays like Pal Do Pal, Bund Galli, and Chandni Ratein.

She started her life in Delhi but left the native town with her family at the time of partition. She often used to recall the harsh memories of her painful migration when she witnessed the massacre of several innocent migrating to their dream country.
