Nimrita Kumari Raped, Killed –Post mortem report

The final post-mortem report of Pakistani Hindu medical student Nimrita Kumari has shocked the public. The report says that male DNA was found on her body, and she was strangled with a rope. According to the latest news issued by the Chandka Medical College Hospital (CMCH) on Wednesday, Nimrita Kumari was sexually harassed and abused before she was murdered in her hostel room. Nimrita Kumari was a BDS final year student at Bibi Aseefa Dental College (BADC) was found dead in her hostel room in Larkana city in Sindh Province of Pakistan on 16th September. The report says that she was sexually abused before her death and died due to asphyxiation.

Police Surgeon Dr. Qarar Ahmed Abbasi said that according to the final post-mortem report, the Larkana student was murdered by strangulation after rape reported by Dawn news. Police Surgeon Dr. Qarar Ahmed Abbasi quoting an observation in the report, said that it is yet to be ascertained through circumstantial evidence whether Nimrita Kumari was strangulated or hanged. He further added that the post-mortem noted that the wound marks on the victim’s neck her wide and thick, which clearly showed that a dupatta didn’t cause the wound (any shawl or scarf) instead it was caused by material or something as of rope. He said the final report of post-mortem didn’t establish the initial theory of suicide.

DNA verification points to rape:

Dr. Qarar Ahmed Abbasi has confirmed that Nimrita was raped. A DNA test of Nimrita Kumari verified the existence of male DNA stipulated from semen excess on her clothes. Smear tested positive for an enforced sexual venture and confirmed that she was raped. The latest autopsy reports have proven that the claim of Dr. Vishal, the victim’s brother who insisted that his sister had been killed as she was neither depressed nor any other sort of tension that she would end her life. The initial post-mortem report of Nimrita Kumari confirmed that no marks of torture or anything else were found on her body, Professor Dholia added, noting further details and samples from the victim’s body were sent to the labs in Karachi and Larkana.
