“Pak Rail Live” is an application introduced by “Pak Railways,” that allows train users to track the exact location of trains throughout the whole network. The application is free for the general public that facilitates passengers a Real-Time train tracking, everyday train schedule updates, estimated arrival of trains at stations as well as alarming arrival notifications. This app doesn’t offer any in-app purchases to satisfy its users throughout Pakistan.

Railways Ministry has been in wait for the users to receive feedback to upgrade and update the app as it has been recently launched and needs more improvements. It was reported that the refresh interval for train tracking sometimes gets slow. Many of the users are requesting to add one map option as well that shows all trains displaying real-time position of every train.
While some of the users praise it for being a good initiative and facilitating almost thousands of people daily, Railways Ministry has recently declared that it will update train coaches, launch a free Wi-Fi service as well as install a tracking system on all of the trains. Trackers will update the customer with train speed and performance also.
The system will also provide the passengers with the tracking of the current location of the train, estimated arrival of the train and its pre-arrival time to their platform. This app is available for Android and iOS devices and can be downloaded from Apple App Store and Google App Store respectively.
