Rape is a serious offense and one doing this act should be severely punished with no mercy given. A recent such rape allegation case has appeared which has caused an outage on the social media in which transgender actor and model Kami Sid has been accused by a user of sexual violence and rape. A social media user with the name of Minahil Baloch posted that rape accused should not be supported even if they make it to Cannes, the biggest film festival of the world. Kami Sid has been riding on the success of her short-film named Rani which made it to Cannes this year.

While in her post Minahil did not take any name, it was clear for many that she was talking about Kami Sid as she is the one who has gone to Cannes. Things clarified further when Minahil shared screenshots of her conversation with Kami Sid in which the social activist is seen threatening the girl. Minahil said that she is being threatened by Kami Sid for writing a post in which she didn’t mention any names. She said that this is not the first time that Kami Sid is threatening anyone and if anything happens to me, Kami Sid will be responsible for it.

Once Minahil made the post public, other people on social media decided to back her statements saying that Kami Sid would threaten anyone who would talk about the 2015 rape case. More people joined in to support Minahil as the story about the alleged rape case continues to unfold in different versions. More and more people have joined in the discussion in which they have labeled the transgender actor as a rapist. On the other hand, Kami has denied all such allegations saying that she will not issue any statement without consulting a lawyer.
