Due to the rapid spread of coronavirus in Pakistan, Punjab CM Usman Buzdar declares a 14-days lockdown in Punjab as well after the lockdown in Sindh and KPK. People were not following the instruction per by the Government notification, to take strict action on coronavirus through noticing of social distance and self-quarantine to control the emergence of new corona cases. Public places and parks will remain closed in this lockdown period of time. However, hospitals, medical stores, ration stores will remain open at this period of time.
Although, CM cleared that it’s not a complete lockdown or curfew. The lockdown orders will remain followed till 6th April 2020. In Islamabad on Monday 23rd March 2020, PM Imran Khan has decided you give an Rs.3000 relief package for each 7 million daily wagers in meeting with the financial team. PM has given guidance on the current economic situation during the Coronavirus breakout in Pakistan. He showed satisfaction over the food and daily important items. PM has also given an agreement of Rs.200 billion relief package for the exporters.
He would also be introducing a tax incentive for the construction industry. Earlier Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government plan to provide ration to the poor and needy people during this coronavirus breakout in the country. On 19th March, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah planned to give ration to the poor people taking help with Crop-5, police Rangers and NGO in a meeting at the Chief Minister House. PM Handover the duties on the authorities to keep an eye on the poor people and said to that poor people or wagers should not suffer from all this situation of corona breakout. To ease the poor’s, mobile kitchen soup suitability has been organized under the Government’s flagship poverty comfort Ehsas program. In October last year, PM had organized the Ehsas-Saylani langar enterprise to supply free food to the poor, needy and homeless all over the world.
Ehsas and Saylani Welfare Trust have united hands to run the benefit through which cooked food would be supplied to the needy, laborers, and daily wagers. As people are at the danger of the small salary induce opportunities due to the pandemic in the country, this food aid idea will be stretched out shortly to a bigger, better and faster scale over all major cities as a part of the Ehsas Framework.
