Main Hoon Shahid Afridi , a movie that was awaited since very long and had attraction for every person living in Pakistan as most of the Pakistani’s love Shahid Afridi and cricket. The Movie was in news from a very long time and before its release it also gave birth to some controversies as Mr.Boom Boom had some reservations on some scenes in the movie like Mahnoor Baloch being hugged and kissed by Humayoun Saeed and item song of Mathira. The producers of movie gave respect to Afridi’s reservations and a lot of editing resulted and Afridi won over Mathira as the item song was deleted from the moive.

The detail of cast along with their roles are Humayun Saeed as Akbar (coach of a team Sialkot Shaheens),Javed Shiekh as Mian Asif Qureshi owner of cricket club naming Islamabad Hunters. Noman Habib as Shahid Bhatti a boy who aim is to become Shahid Afridi, Shahzad Sheikh as Mikaal Qureshi and played role of Captain of Islamabad Hunters. Mahnoor Baloch as Sara daughter of Mian Asif Qureshi,Shafqat Cheema as Imam deen a gambler and father of Shahid Bhatti. Ismail Tara as Malik Khalid who dreams to revive his club Malik Club later Sialkot Shaeens and pay the loans he has taken.Ainee Jaffri as Alina, a supporter of Sialkot Shaheens.Gohar Rasheed as Kashif a fast bowler with an lightning speed. Ainan Arif as Micheal Magnet wicket keeper Sailkot Shaheens. Asim Mehmood as Shiekh a batsman having strong nerves and stands like a wall between wickets and bowler . Ahsan Khan as Thomas J. Nicks a foreign coach hired to train Islamabad hunters.
The special appearance in movie were Shahid Khan Afridi, Ayesha Omar and Faisal Qureshi. Regarding the direction of movie one can say that I was very nicely directed and keeping in view the standards of Lollywood it was made far better than the ordinary Lollywood movies. The movie is complete package as it has slow track and fast track songs, a slight comedy touch has also been given in it ,voice against racism has also been raised in some of it parts and some very emotional parts are also engraved in it and cricket match related parts have been directed to perfection. Overall the movie can be rated 7.5 out of 10 and a must watch movie.
