The day 12th Rabi ul Awal is marked as one of the most highly-regarded day for every Muslim as the day is the birth anniversary of the last prophet of religion Islam Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). And the date 12 Rabiul Awal is also the departing date from this mortal world.

Prophet Muhammad’s arrival and departure from this world are on the very same date to avoid Muslims to get saddened over his departure or get overjoyed while celebrating the birth of the greatest Scholar of the world.

The day is celebrated with religious solemnity and reverence by the Muslims as they commemorate the day according to the sect they belong to.

The most known way to commemorating the day beside Salat is reciting Naats, lighting houses-offices-shops, and organizing speeches on the topic of Hazrat Muhammad SAW’s ideal personality for the Muslims.

The other known way of paying tribute is arranging a walk or rallies and to publicize the real mean of the day and to spread Prophet’s message to each and everyone.
