Muhammad Amir Might Play Domestic T20 Cricket Tournament

Muhammad Amir who was banned from international and domestic cricket is busy to find a way to come back to international cricket. He might be a part of the domestic Twenty 20 tournament scheduled for this year.

This tournament will feature all major national players of Pakistan. Official announcement of Muhammad Amir’s participation in domestic T20 tournament is expected on Monday. If Muhammad Amir makes it to the tournament, this will be the first time in last five years that he will play domestic tournament. Muhammad Amir has been given relaxation of six months by ICC otherwise he would not have been able to play this tournament.

In current scenario this news is very important. Pakistan national team lost One Day and T20 to Bangladesh cricket team. It happened after 16 years that Bangladesh has defeated Pakistan in ODI match while they never won a series against Pakistan in ODI format. Pakistan also conceded their first ever defeat in T20 international against Bangladesh. The first Test match also resulted in a draw amid weak Pakistan bowling attack.

Current Pakistan bowling attack is new and inexperienced as Saeed Ajmal after changing his bowling action has failed to show the magic with the ball. Pakistan needs fast bowlers like Muhammad Amir to revive their bowling attack otherwise the day is not far when Pakistan will lose to teams much worse than Bangladesh.
