Punjab Government’s Youth Internship Program 2015 to Launch Soon

‘Youth’ plays initial role in uplifting the country and bringing back prosperity to the nation. Every of the government pays keen attention towards Youth, looking at their problems and benefits.

Punjab Government bringing smiles back on the faces of ‘leaders of tomorrow’, soon to launch ‘Youth Internship program 2015’.

The initiative might be taken, after recognising the unemployment rate in the current government’s tenure rose up to the ‘highest unemployment rate in last 13 years’. This can be regarded as a little effort to overcome such a big social issue.

Recalling the ‘unemployment’ report:
According to Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PSB), unemployed people have been increased to 1.5 million since Nawaz sharif’s regime in 2013. The report was presented around 2 months back by PSB to the National Economic Council. Following it, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif advised his ministers to overcome these crisis as early as possible.

Although, the current initiative for youth seems to be a ray of hope for unemployed students This initiative works with an aim to provide opportunities to unemployed youth to enhance their skills and to get experience to further have a brighter future.

It is about 6 months internship, designed to benefit  25,000 fresh graduates ( having 16 years of education or diploma holders and others). The interns will be rewarded a monthly stipend of PKR 15,000/-  during the internship through Easy Pay card. The student successfully completing the internship would be awarded the internship completion certificate.

Eligibility Criteria:
Age limit: 18-30
Educational Career : Must have completed 16 years of Education OR Technical/Vocational Diploma holders, Sub-Engineers, Health Technicans, Paramedics, Agriculture & Livestock Technicias.

Should be recognised by: Degree/Diploma must be recognized from HEC/Technical Boards and attained from a Local/Foreign/Government/private institute.

Domicile: Must have Domicile of the Punjab Province

Identity Card: Must have a valid CNIC or Form-B

Fresh Graduate: Must have passed in year 2012 or onwards
