Pakistan’s series saving effort 2-2 against England in Test have really worked for them as they are now the top Test side as per the ICC Ranking.

This is for the first time since 1988 that Pakistan have become the number 1 Test side.

Though things didn’t worked in favor of Pakistan in 1st ODI, especially after irresponsible batting the bowling too couldn’t make any difference in the game.

Especially the pace attack of Green Shirts failed baldy. Umar Gul, who made his come back in the side was quite handy against Ireland in 1st ODI but couldn’t been that influential in 1st ODI against England.
