It is confirmed that sequel of Jawani Phir Nahi Ani a JPNA2 will be released by the end of the year 2017.Earlier, the director Nadeem Baig was approached to Rishi Kapoor with a comedy role in the sequel, but the Indian actor rejected the proposal.
The lead actor of JPNA 1, Humayun Saeed said that a few days back he was in Romania with director Nadeem Baig for movie scenes while Vasay Chaudhary is busy in writing the script of a sequel. All actors who worked in part one will also be the part of a sequel with the addition of Fahad Mustafa who will also be given the lead role in the movie. Fahad Mustafa has also confirmed that he will be doing a major role in the JPNA 2.
The shooting of the movie is expected to start in March 2017, and expected release date is Eid ul Adha 2017.

JPNA 1 received the mixed response from the movie lovers and industry professionals. But the film end with being the super-hit movie of year 2015 and collected record figure of Rs. 49 crore. It is currently the highest grossing Pakistan movie.
