Rs 9.132 billion has been added to The Prime Minister and Chief Justice of Pakistan Diamer Bhasha and Mohmand Dam’s fund till now. Not only in Pakistan, but people are contributing to the funds throughout the world. Renowned award-winning singer, Grammy from South Africa, has requested his people to donate to this cause as much as they can.
“According to a report under the United Nations, water resources in Pakistan will dry up by 2025, so it is a humble request to all Pakistanis, wherever they are living across the world or living in the country, to contribute to the cause generously”, a special message to all Pakistanis across the world. In his video, Smack That hitmaker said, “This will help make Pakistan move into a better future.”
US singer Akon shared a video message for the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Sunday, saying that he is going to come to Pakistan soon. Not only this, but the R&B artist will also be performing live in Karachi and Lahore in their concerts for World Soccer Stars, starting from April 26 to 29.
According to a report by the State Bank of Pakistan, approximately an amount of Rs7.912 billion has been collected just by the people of the country, the rest of Rs1.22 billion was added by the expatriate Pakistanis. The cause was initiated for the construction of a huge project of dams in July 2017 by Chief Justice of Supreme Court, Mian Saqib Nisar, Diamer Bhasha and Mohmand Dams Fund under account No.03-593-299999-001-4 and IBN No. PK06SBPP0035932999990014)
Hence renaming the fund’s name as “Prime Minister and Chief Justice of Pakistan Fund for Diamer Bhasha and Mohmand Dam.” They are doing their best for the sake of the country.
