PTCL links an agreement with NETFLIX to provide an online subscription video on demand of its users. Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has signed a partnership with the world-leading entertainment subscription-based service provider NETFLIX to help the platform expand in Pakistan more often. According to the partnership, PTCL users will be able to have access to 6-months of NETFLIX subscription free.
Chief Commercial Officer, PTCL, Adnan Shahid, presented a memento to Global Head of Business Development, NETFLIX, Bill Holmes at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. PTCL is the first Telecom Operator in Pakistan to launch a partnership program with NETFLIX. With this partnership, PTCL has another premium service offering its internet subscribers. This gives PTCL broadband internet subscribers another reason to stay loyal to PTCL.
PTCL has already hosted advanced caching servers for NETFLIX in Pakistan for better viewing since last year. Under the best results of this trial, PTCL has now ventured into this agreement for enabling quality entertainment content for its subscribers.
Under this agreement, PTCL subscribers with 8 Mbps or above internet can redeem up to 6-months of unlimited access to the NETFLIX content, enabling them to catch their favorite TV shows, movies series and more on their smartphones, tablets, smart TVs and gaming consoles. PTCL will provide its customers the ease of paying for their NETFLIX subscriptions through PTCL’s monthly consolidated billing instead of payment through credit cards.

You are not eligible for the NETFLIX, the process is very simple. You need your account ID which is written on your monthly bill and landline number. The PTCL billing option is only eligible for the customers who will sign up for a new NETFLIX account or rejoin the service through Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) website.
