Radio Pakistan Launches National Talent Hunt ‘Awaz Pakistan’

Radio Pakistan has launched a unique talent hunt named “Awaz Pakistan”. The program was inaugurated by Federal Minister for information and Broadcasting and National Heritage Senator Mr. Pervaiz Rashid.

To make the program successful, twelve stations of Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation (PBC) has been selected that are: Multan, Lahore, Bahawalpur, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Quetta, Hyderabad, Karachi, Khairpur, Muzzaffarabad, Peshawar, Gilgit, and Sialkot. All these PBC stations has been nominated to contact educational institutions of their regions and invite talent through announcements on air, facilitate and arrange an audition to select the students having potential and provide them recording facility and send them nominations for participation in the mega event of choosing finalists.

The jury of the mega even consists three persons that are: Ms. Tani Sani, Mr. Arshad Mehmood, and Mrs. Kanwal Naseer.

According to Radio Pakistan, “Local stations will nominate them own three member jury headed by their respective Station directors the Focal person  of this programme is Mr. Khursheed Ahmed Malik Controller CPU and External Service PBC, Headquarters Islamabad.”
