The provincial government of Sindh has announced public holiday across the province on the 9th death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto.
According to statement hereby issued by the Government of Sindh Information Department, “The government of Sindh has declared December 27, 2016 (Tuesday) as public holiday throughout the province on the occasion of Shahadat of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed for all offices, autonomous, semi-autonomous bodies, corporations and local councils under the administrative control of Government of Sindh.”
Opposition leader in National Assembly of Pakistan, Khursheed Shah said that the PPP workers across the country would reach Garhi Khuda Baksh, Larkana on the death anniversary of BB. It worth to mention here that former president of Pakistan and leader of PPP Asif Ali Zardari has also arrived in Karachi to address the event on 27 December 2016 at Garhi Khuda Baksh, Larkana.
In addition to PPP of Sindh, PPP KPK will also hold the events to mark the day of BB. PPP KPK has finalized the plans to observe the 9th death anniversary of slain PM of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto on December 27.
