Chacha Cricket to Get Global Sports Fan Award

Pakistan is a country that has got some amazing and talented crickets and this talent just continues to show up every now and then. One thing that has remained constant over all this time is the support that the cricket team gets from its supporters especially from one main supporter i.e. Chacha Cricket. The super fan has been around the Pakistan team for quite some time now and has been cheering Pakistan cricket team wherever it goes to play. In order to acknowledge the performance of Chacha off the field, he will be getting an award for his dedication and services for the game as a true super fan of the game.

Chacha Cricket, real name Abdul Jalil, will get the much acclaimed Global Sports Fan award on June 14th, just two days before the big clash between Pakistan and India. Apart from Abdul Jalil, four other super fans from four different countries will also be getting the accolade. The Chacha Cricket said that he is overwhelmed to get global recognition and will like to thank all the well-wishers who stood by him during his difficult time. He said that he is honored to have received the award of Global Fan Recognition having spent his entire life to support cricket.

The 70-year old cricket fan from Sialkot has been supporting the Pakistani team since 1969. He attended his first match in Lahore in 1969 and since then he has been present in most of the matches that Pakistan has played whether they are in Pakistan or overseas. The Cricket Chacha has witnessed different stars of the different era like Javed Miandad, Inzimam-ul-Haq, Babar Azam, and a lot more. Abdul Jalil has given a lot to cricket specifically Pakistan’s cricket and this Global Recognition award is a good way to pay back for his services to cricket.
