The best time of the year is here as PSL edition 5 is all set to happen. The teams are decided and the nation cannot wait for the matches to be played in Pakistan. The participating teams are,
- Lahore Qalandars
- Islamabad United
- Quetta Gladiators
- Peshawar Zalmi
- Karachi Kings
- Multan Sultan
Lahore Qalandars:
Fawad Rana is the owner of the team and the team is currently coached by Aaqib Javaid. Lahore Qalandars prefer to select the newbies and give them a chance, one of the examples is Shaheen Shah Afridi. The team hasn’t managed to win any PSL up till now.
Islamabad United:
Islamabad United is the team that won the first PSL and after that they won the PSL 3 also. The coach of the team is Misbah-ul-Haq, who has been replaced by Dean Jones. The team is owned by Ali Naqvi and Amna Naqvi.
Karachi Kings:
Karachi Kings is the team of coach Dean Jones and its captain is Imad Wasim. The team hasn’t won any PSL up till now. Karachi Kings are owned by Salman Iqbal, who is the CEO of the ARY digital network.
Quetta Gladiators:
Quetta Gladiators are a very strong team, but they didn’t win any edition of the PSL. The team is owned by Nadeem Omar in the coaching of Moin Khan. They have reached in the finals twice but didn’t win.
Peshawar Zalmi:
Peshwar Zalmi is liked by everyone because of the West Indies player Darren Sammy. The team has won the second edition of PSL in the coaching of Mohammad Akram. The team is owned by Javaid Afridi
Multan Sultan:
The team was introduced in PSL in the 2018 edition. The team is owned by Ali Tareen and the coach is Tom Moody. Sultans are all set to play in the 5th edition and hoping to win.
All 4 seasons of PSL were excellent and the nation is waiting for the next best one. The league is going to start on 20th February 2020. All matches of the PSL will be in Pakistan.
