Well a lot of inspirational work is happening in Pakistan’s showbiz, like Pakistan first zombie movie is going to be released, Zeba Bakhiar have came up with a feature film company and now another revolution in Pakistan’s showbiz is first ever superhero series in Pakistan that is Burka Avenger. The Burka Avenger is cartoon series in which every episode will have different story but revolving around the same superhero Burka Avenger. This cartoon series have been produced to enlighten the various ills of the society.
Specially looking at the current situation in Pakistan about the violation of women rights, female education etc etc. The superhero of the series is a female teacher who know the skills of Martial arts and she uses her skills to fight for peace, justice and equality. She uses the burka to hide her identity as all super hero’s take some measures to hide their supernatural abilities from society. In the same manner looking at the culture of Pakistan and to give a Pakistani feeling to the cartoon series the Burka has been used to hide the identity of the superhero.
Pakistan’s pop start Haroon is the master mind behind this series and he asserts that this series will give awareness to the children in Pakistan about importance of girls education and their role in making a better society. Every episode of the series will have a moral and positive message attached to it. The cartoon series is not very much intense and is produced in a lighter mood as it is full of fun and laughter as well. The series is expected to be broadcasted through GEO TV in start of August. The official trailer has also been released. The cartoon series will definitely have some positive impact on the children watching it.
