Indeed a very much needed step by Zeba Bakhtiar to set up first feature film company in Pakistan. Zeba Bakhitar has set up this company by the name of “One Motion Pictures”. The aim of the company is to make movies of international standards and to take Pakistan film industry to a era. Son of Zeba Bakhitar and Adnan Sami khan Azaan Sami Khan will act as CEO of the company. The company will launch its first movie that is first Pakistani action thriller movie having heavy cast like Shan, Iman Ali. The movie is said to be released on this Eid ul Fitar. One motion pictures has every potential to emerge as a successful company as it has all the raw material that is required for a feature film company. Every Pakistani cinema lover wants to see Pakistan film industry groom but over the years the industry has gone down and the standard of the films has gone down with time, Pakistani films over two decades have only targeted a specific sector or group of people and to be more specific that group of people are illiterate who just only want to see the conventional 70’s action.
Targeting a specific group of people has taken the industry to a dark age of Pakistan Cinema result of which is families have stopped going to the cinema and cinemas have dried up. Many cinema owners have turned the buildings of Cinemas to some Plaza’s. In such situation Zeba’s step in setting up this company have given some hope to fans for the revival of Pakistan film industry.
