Every one of us receives calls and SMS from our circles including friends, family and co-workers. Sometimes it happens that you do not want to receive calls or SMS from a certain source. Some of these SMS can be from your service provider that keeps your phone buzzing with different offers and packages. Now a day SMS marketing has been very popular and has been used actively by majority of the companies. They keep you informed about their products which you do not have any idea about. You really want to stop it and do not know how to get rid of these SMS.

PTA 9000 Method in Urdu

These kinds of SMS and Calls are against the law and you can take a step towards stopping them. You just need to inform PTA about these and surely PTA will take action against these SMS and calls.

The procedure is as follows:

SMS 9000 with the following details in the content;

  • Content of the text that you received and do not want to receive it again
  • Mobile number of the sender
  • Your full name along with CNIC number
  • Any other details that you might know related to the sender of the SMS

Charges are 10 paisa including Tax per SMS as you send your request to PTA on the number 9000.

Now that you have followed the steps above, you have played your part and rest lies with PTA. They definitely will take action and it doesn’t matter whether it is your mobile company that is sending you annoying SMS or any other company that is using SMS marketing to annoy you, PTA will definitely take action against them.
