HUM TV is bold enough to show controversial scenes in the form of couples sometimes hugging together or women wearing extra-skimpy outfits. But this time it broke all shackles by showing a blurred guy scene in a family drama called “Humnasheen”. Humnasheen is a story on quiet controversial subject. It is telecast every Sunday. In the last Sunday episode, a blurred scene of two men making out in a room was shown which shook the viewers and drew them to say No to the channels. PEMRA has already received a lot of complaints against showing the scene and channel.
According to HUM TV’s spokesman, the scene has truly depicts the ace of our society but television watching audience is still not satisfied. In their opinion, it must not b e shown in the Prime-time at least when almost everyone from the family sits in front of the television channel to find entertainment and relax from the daily life.
It is a shame for our society that even being a Muslim we are far away from our religious and moral teaching. We do not fear God now to shun such practices of evil. It is a fact that such people exist, who are fond of such sinful deed. There are many reasons for it but the very first one is our flaw to accept a true Muslim Culture. Nowadays people have rejected to turn themselves into a true Muslim, they want to become modern and a general example of Modernity here is “Adopting Western Culture”. We are not ready to accept Arabians to be modern or Persians to be civilized rather wish to follow Europeans who have truly ruined us. “Gay culture” that has solid roots here now is an example. So if we want to get rid of such evils we must have to break the spell of Western inspirations that have very strong roots in our society now.
Although it was a bold decision to show the actual face of our society where such things happen a quiet a lot these days, but showing it to the public at prime-time is not acceptable at all.
