A new scandal popped out on 29th march 2013, when a legal practitioner threw a shoe at All Pakistan Muslim League leader and Dictator Musharraf Pervez. The ex-president Musharraf Pervez was going to the court for his case hearing in Karachi. This sort of protest is mostly not meant to harm but to show loath. It is a latest form of protest against political leaders.
Some sources tell that the shoe touched Musharraf, while some disagree. A number of channels showed the video. It is also available on the internet. The response of police is a little shaken, as they say no legal charges could be placed over that ‘’Shoe Thrower”.
The scandal is on everyone’s lips these days and people are showing are showing different responses about it. But the most important one is the lawyer’s – In his opinion, it was a good thing to show Musharraf his value. He further said, Musharraf’s reign was the worst-ever time of his life as Musharraf government troubled his mother a lot. Thus shoe toss was a sign of revenge from his part as he did not mean harm him; he meant to show disgust rather.
This awful incident occurs just after four days of his arrival. He was rushing towards the court at that time and was surrounded by police, security, a number of journalists and others. Musharraf Pervez showed no acquaintance to the lawyer. He said that he is not aware of the ‘’thrower’’.
The bygone Pakistani president, Musharraf Pervez has recently come back to Pakistan after his long exile. Although his regime has completed years ago and he has become an old torn story, yet his enemies and the people who do not like him are many. Shoe Tossing at someone is a serious insult and it shows an unlimited rage and disgust towards the person. It seems that Musharraf’s arrival at Pakistan for elections after a long pause is not appreciated by many. The incident portrays a story of anger to discourage and defame him.
Shoe throwing owns a political history now. George W. Bush, Asif Ali Zardari, and Wen Jiabao and many more. they all suffered from such detest. It seems to have become a trend on the political grounds that if you want to show dislike towards a leader, you go reach him and throw a shoe to insult him. Whatever it may, but it does not suit a well-behaving nation to act in this way. It is not a good gesture on her part.
