Muhammad Uzair, a seven years old boy has again snatched the title of “World’s youngest Microsoft Certified Professional (MCPs) “according to ARY news reports this Wednesday. Microsoft awarded t title to Muhammad Uzair, who is hardly seven years old now. He belongs from Lahore, Pakistan. Teachers and his family stood by him to achieve this honour. ARY News broke this news to us recently and now it is everywhere on social media these days.
This title was formerly bestowed to the well-celebrated “Arfa Karim Randhawa” from Faisalabad, Pakistan. She became IT professional at the age of nine in 2004; and kept this title till 2008, when a young boy again from Pakistan, Baber Iqbal took it from her. Arfa won many awards like Fatima Jinnah Gold Medal, Salaam Pakistan Youth Award and President’s Pride of Performance award. She even impressed Bill Gates who after listening about her reputation invited her to visit Microsoft Headquarters in United Stated of America. She was the brand ambassador of 3G EVO in 2010 also. Arfa died in 2012 after suffering from cardiac arrest, which was no, doubt a great loss for our nation. A technology Park in Lahore is named after Arfa Karim in 2012.
Baber Iqbal from Dera Ismael Khan grabbed this title from Arfa afterwards. He was the youngster Pakistan I.T Prodigy, with multi-talents like he is the youngest CIWA, CWNA, youngest Microsoft Student Partner and youngest MCTS in .NET. In 2009, he started working with Microsoft in Dubai. He is currently a professional computer programmer.
Pakistan is a proud producer of such talented youngsters who are proving their worth to the world. There are many other names as well and Uzair is one among them. He has defiantly made our nation feel proud once again. We wish him super-scintillating success in the years ahead.
