Pakistani umpire Asad Rauf name also came up in the list of those who are involved in the IPL spot fixing but up till now no proper evidence of Asad Rauf being involved in spot fixing has been given but a strange thing is that Pakistani Umpire have not been seen since 4 days. Media is looking for him every where so that his comments should be taken on the issue but he has disappeared from the scene and nobody knows where he is. Manager of 57 year old umpire said that his Asad Rauf has nothing to do with spot fixing and ICC has told him to be in low profile and not to say anything to media. The family members of the umpire were also not found at home. After his name came in the list of persons that are probably involved in spot fixing, ICC has taken out Asad Rauf from the umpire panel of ICC Champions Trophy.
The spot fixing in IPL has damaged the credibility of the tournament very suspicious not only the credibility of the tournament but the entire game of cricket. Asad Rauf is probably the most controversial umpire of Pakistan, earlier his photos and video with a Indian model were also seen and relation with model was exposed and but then it was said that these were fake photos. The question here is that if Asad Rauf is innocent then why is he keeping low and why his name has been taken out from umpire Panel of ICC champions trophy? Only time will reveal answers to these questions lets hope that name of Pakistan didn’t come up in IPL spot fixing.
