Samsung Galaxy S5
After Samsung Galaxy S4 there are rumors of Galaxy S5 everywhere. And no doubt it is going to capture everyone’s attention. As for now with the Samsung Galaxy S4 selling well, but not attracting the same degree of excitement as some rival devices especially Apple iPhone 5S, Galaxy S5 is about to emerge with more interesting features. Release of Samsung Galaxy S(V) is being predicted as of Samsung’s usual Galaxy release pattern, which is normally in March/April, but rumors suggesting the release
in first quarter of 2014 and more possibly in february as the manufacturing process will be finished in january.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Metal Body
There are frequent criticism on Galaxy S series plastic bodies as Samsung is stuck with use of polycarbonate through four generations and also on its other devices, while Smartphones such as the iPhone 5S and HTC One being the most beautiful smartphone of the world because of its premium body, look and feel, Samsung now replacing a polycarbonate casing in favour of aluminium and magnesium alloy for Galaxy S5. The Taipei Times reports that Catcher Technology Co, a company that makes metal bodies for Apple and HTC devices, will now manufacture Galaxy casings for Samsung. Magnesium and Aluminium will most likely be the metals used for this purpose. While Korean site ETNews reported that the Galaxy S5 would have an all-metal chassis and another source claimed that Catcher Technology Co had taken an order to make the metal chassis for Samsung’s Galaxy series. If Samsung introduce metal body in Galaxy S5 then this smartphone will have more solid base and more protected from inner and outer area, and there are also other rumors of being waterproof and dustproof.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Camera
According to a report from Korea in August Samsung is working on a new 16-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilisation. Samsung described this sensor as “the world’s highest-performance camera module” and its OIS allows for correcting angular errors of up to 1.5-degrees off target, reducing blur and increasing sharpness. According to Samsung with this type of camera it means that shots and full HD video recordings will be eight times brighter than other competing sensors.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Specification
Galaxy S5 is taking the lead in processor from its biggest rival iPhone 5S as Apple iPhone 5S is running on a quad core 64bit A7 processor while according to report Samsung will be launching 14nm 64bit octa-core processor based on ARM with minimum 3Gb or 4Gb Ram. While the operating system concerned with Galaxy S5, Samsung will more possibly launch Android 4.4 KitKat which is just recently launched in market or go for another new operating system Tizen. The Galaxy S5 is also rumoured to be coming to market with 3GB or 4 GB of RAM and a 4000mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Display
Samsung is planning to take its screen resolution from FHD to WQHD i.e. 1920*1080 to 2560*1440. Until further evidence emerges, it seems we are looking at a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 560ppi for the Galaxy S5, which would be super-sharp and class leading.
