3rd Most Popular Mobile Network of Pakistan: Mobilink

It is important to mention here that Mobilink has been rated as the largest telecom operator of Pakistan and they have the highest number of connections in Pakistan.

As far as the popularity of Mobilink is concerned, one of the reasons of their low popularity is that they have calling rates that end up on the higher end of the spectrum.

Another reason is that many people although not fans of Mobilink due to their higher service rates are forced to use it as the areas they are living in are not covered by any other mobile network operator.

4th Most Popular Mobile Network of Pakistan: Warid

Although the poll results show that Warid is quite low on the popularity graph but it is worth mentioning that they have loyal customers and now they are silently building their audience via more aggressive advertisement.

Initially their advertising campaigns were low in number and were targeting a specific audience.

5th Most Popular Mobile Network of Pakistan: Zong

It is not a surprise that Zong is standing last in the popularity contest. Zong was the last Telecom Company introduced in Pakistan. By the time Zong was launched, all the above companies had already established their market shares.

Zong is owned by the world’s largest Telecom Company, China Mobile.

Is Ufone really the Most Popular Mobile Network of Pakistan?

One can argue a lot on this question but some things are quite obvious. The number of mobile users in Pakistan is increasing quite dynamically. The youth are main ingredients causing this dynamic growth. Ufone provides good facilities when it comes to friends and family numbers and you can call them on lower rates. Ufone provides relatively cheaper rates than its competitors as far as the international calls are concerned. SMS packages are designed in such a way that needs of every age group are catered. In addition Ufone these days is giving really good packages to its users who mainly make calls to PTCL, Vfone and Ufone.

So it is really easy to answer that Ufone is going to stay at this position for quite a long time and its dominance is not an easy task for other mobile companies to challenge.
