Due to very bad political situation of Bangladesh, Asia Cup 2014 was in danger to be held in Bangladesh but the Asian Cricket Council has decided that the tournament will still be held in Bangladesh.
Afghanistan is the surprise entry in the tournament as it was revealed by the Asian Cricket Council that Afghanistan will be the 5th team in the tournament.
Bangladesh as a host was in doubt as due to the political turmoil in Bangladesh, West Indies under–19 team left the tour incomplete after an explosion near their hotel.
The tournament is expected to start on 25th of February 2014. Fixtures of Matches in the tournament are as follows.

All these matches will start at 1 PM according to Pakistan Standard Time. The highlight of the tournament will be Pakistan VS India match that will be played on 2nd of March 2014 in Mir Pur. Large number of spectators will turn to the ground for this match as well as any other match involving the Bangladesh team.
