Well I have been saying it from some time that Pakistan is losing all its comedians very quickly. A sad news for all of us is that another comedy star Maqsood Hassan has passed away on Wednesday. Maqsood Hassan was last seen on Qudosi Sab ki Bewa. It really was pleasure to see him on screen.
His career is spread over span of 50 years. He didn’t limited him to small screen only but was also part of Big or Silver Screen this is not the end he also played his role in radio. It is pertinent to mention here that he didn’t limit himself to acting but he also was employee of Karachi Municipal Corporation. He started his career from Radio back in 1980’s from a radio play Bachoon ki Duniya.
The he moved to small screen and onward he did made his debut on big screen. One of his most famous play was “Bakra Kistoon py.” The most successful movie of his career was Jaag Utha hy Insaan. It is worth mentioning here that Maqsood Hassan was very close to Muhammad Ali and they were very good friends. The martial life wasn’t too long as he did married only six years ago and they haven’t have any children.
He was last seen on stage in a drama named “Hum Log.” This really news of his death was very very shocking for industry for all showbiz people because our industry has lost great comedians in very quick successions and couldn’t believe that Maqsood Hassan is no more between us. He died on Wednesday due to heart attack. We pray that Allah give patience to his family and give him highest place in Janat ul Firdos. Ameen!
