Pakistani youngsters did a tremendous job and achieved nine records for Pakistan in Punjab Youth Festival 2014.
1) Mohammad Arbab achieved a Guinness Book of World Record by performing 65 push-ups on one hand in one minute with 40 pound weight.
2) An amazing world record has been achieved by seven young Pakistanis by controlling heaviest weight with nails in a most layered bed placed upon each other and sandwiching the young people in between. This record was previously held by India.
3) Muhammad Rashid, who is an expert in Martial Arts, cracked 155 walnuts by head in only one minute and snatched the record from America.
4) Farhan Ayub did the most number of kick ups in break dance style in just one minute and achieved the record for Pakistan.
5) Nadeem Abbas gets his name written in Guinness Book of World Records by performing most push-ups on back of the hands while carrying 40 pound weight in only one minute time duration.
6) Mujtaba Hussain snatched the record from China by smashing most walnuts in one minute with the help of a nunchaku. He managed to smash 107 walnuts and made a new world record.
7) Ali Haider broken Great Britain’s world record by performing 52 push-ups on back of the hands while carrying 60 pounds of weight.
8) Zafar Iqbal won the world record for Pakistan by performing 100 push-ups in one minute time duration having 40 pound weight on his back.
9) Earlier in Punjab Youth Festival, Pakistan has already set a new record for biggest national human flag last week.
Many more world records are in the pipeline to be broken. A 2-member team of Guinness will monitor the festival and will finalize the records to be named to Pakistan.
